Information for Voters
The Manhattan Beach City Council Election is Tuesday March 5th.
Vote Only for Your Candidates
Only vote for the candidate(s) you know. When voting, you may choose up to three out of the six candidates. Common practice at any election is vote for the person you know and then randomly check the other candidate boxes, for whatever reason (party, sex, race, business, etc) to fill out the remaining spots. In this election, the top three vote getters win. If you want your vote to count for your candidate(s) only vote for the individuals you want to see elected. Random votes work against your preferred candidate(s) and may be the tie-breaker that keeps them out of office.
